Looking for a fun summer job? Come join the team at Rec Park Pool!

✔ Work outside all summer long

Not currently lifeguard certified? No problem!

A local lifeguard certification class is being offered June 6–8 at the Juniata Valley YMCA for anyone needing certification before employment.

📌 Certification Class Details:
📅 June 6–8
✔ Must be 15 years or older
✔ Online training required before class
✔ Must attend all class sessions
✔ Swim skills test required

💲 Cost:
$150 Members / $200 Nonmembers
👉 Certification cost may be reimbursed after successful certification

📌 Important:
Registration must be completed 2 weeks in advance and spots are limited. Please make sure you are able to attend all class times and meet the requirements before signing up.

Rec Park Pool - Season End Announcement
August 24, 2025

Due to the predicted rainy forecast for today and an unexpected visit from some geese 🪿 who have decided to take over the pool, we regret to inform you that the pool will not be opening today. It looks like the 2025 pool season has officially come to an end.

We want to extend a big thank you to all our patrons, members, and visitors who made this summer season special. A special shout-out to our swim teams for their dedication and hard work. It’s been a fantastic season that truly flew by, and we can’t wait to see everyone again next summer!

Thank you to our sponsors whose help allows us to make improvements to the pool year after year.

And last but not least, thank you to the staff- we had a great group of teens this year who really stepped up and made the summer a success.

The pool is officially closed for the 2025 season.
