The 53rd annual running of the Juniata Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America's Klondike Derby is this Saturday at the Seven Mountains Scout Camp.
The 2025 Klondike Derby continues to be a long-standing tradition of winter activities for our Council. For this event, patrols pull a customized sled around Seven Mountains Scout Camp to compete in various scout skills challenges like tomahawk throw, first aid, cooking, archery, etc. A patrol's performance at each event will be scored for their level of knowledge or accomplishment and for teamwork.
Bundle up and head to the mountains to watch these young scouts portage through the camp with their dog sleds!
