Sunday’s forecast: wildlife with a chance of adventure.

🟡 RECOVERY MONDAY | YELLOW FLAG DAY

Lake Lewisville woke up choosing wind. Not “cancel your plans” wind. More like “hold onto your hat and don’t paddle to Oklahoma” wind.

Water temp is a comfortable 80°, skies are clearing, and the lake is looking pretty good if you respect the afternoon gusts.

🚤 Boaters

✔ Smooth cruising this morning
✔ Great day to explore coves and marinas
✔ Keep an eye on afternoon chop in open water
✔ Check your tie-downs before trailering home

🏄 Paddlers

✔ Early morning is your friend today
✔ Stay close to protected shorelines and coves
✔ Expect open-water chop this afternoon
✔ New paddlers should skip long crossings

🎣 Fishermen

✔ Rising water has fish moving shallow around flooded structure
✔ Wind-blown points may produce later today
✔ Bring extra sunscreen because the clouds are packing their bags

🚤💨 Jetskiers

Congratulations. The lake finally generated enough natural chop to make you feel like you’re racing in a dramatic action movie. The rest of us would appreciate it if you didn’t test your suspension system three feet from every kayak on the lake.

🚩 LAKE LEWISVILLE RED FLAG REPORT 🚩

Mother Nature woke up and chose thunderstorms. The lake is still there. The fish are still judging you. The dock shop is still open.

🚤 BOATERS

• Keep one eye on the horizon and one eye on the radar.
• Morning windows may be your best friend today.
• If lightning starts auditioning for a Marvel movie, head for the marina.
• Secure loose gear before the wind turns it into community property.

🏄 PADDLERS

• Red Flag Day means shoreline adventures only if storms are nearby.
• PFD on. Leash on. Ego off.
• Check radar before launch and again before you convince yourself “that cloud is moving away.”
• Sunset Sips is still on the menu if conditions cooperate later this week.

🎣 FISHERMEN

• Fish don’t mind getting wet.
• You should.
• Morning bite may be worth the early alarm clock.
• Carbon fiber rods and lightning are a terrible dating app match.

🚤 JET SKI REPORT

Today’s forecast calls for:
95% chance of somebody discovering that bouncing across whitecaps at 40 mph was a questionable life choice.

🎉 PARTY COVE REPORT

Party Cove is currently accepting:
• Floating coolers
• Questionable dance moves
• People who say “it’s just a little lightning”

The lightning disagrees.

🌅 SUNSET SIPS

If the storms clear out this Wednesday grab your board, your favorite beverage, and join us at the rocks for a sunset worth sticking around for. Sometimes the best sunsets arrive after the worst weather.

⚡ Red Flag Rule of the Day: You can paddle tomorrow. You can’t out-paddle lightning today. Stay smart, stay dry, and we’ll see you on the water when the sky decides to behave. 🌅🚩

🟡 LAKE LEWISVILLE | Saturday Lake Mode
Yellow Flag Day: Dodge the Rain Bands Edition

Mother Nature woke up and chose chaos. 🌦️

The forecast looks like someone dropped a tackle box into the weather model, but the lake is still sitting at a comfortable 78°, winds remain manageable, and the radar appears to be playing a game of “maybe.”

Meanwhile somewhere in North Texas, an event planner is staring at the sky whispering:

“You had ONE job…” 😅

🚤 Boaters
• Morning window looks best
• Keep one eye on the water and one eye on the radar
• Floating debris possible near creek mouths
• Dock Shop is open if your cove needs an upgrade

🏄 Paddlers
• Early launch wins today
• Water temp is perfect
• Light winds make for pleasant cruising between rain bands
• Remember: you can’t get caught in the rain if you’re already having fun

🎣 Fishermen
• Cloud cover = fish confidence
• Creek mouths and structure should produce
• Bass don’t care about your weather app
• Fish were already wet before you arrived

🚤💨 Jet Ski Forecast
Today’s recommended speed is:
“Fast enough to outrun a rain cloud, slow enough to see it first.”

🍹 Party Cove Forecast
Today’s theme:
Margaritas with a 60% chance of relocation.

If you hear thunder, it’s either the weather… or somebody explaining why their Bluetooth speaker was definitely waterproof.
