Department Spotlight: Fire Department and Emergency Management🚒

The Lewisville Fire Department and Lewisville Office of Emergency Management Department’s mission is to protect and serve Lewisville while working to mitigate, respond and recover from disasters. One of the main volunteer needs is for the Lewisville Fire Department Reserve Program.

The Lewisville Fire Department Reserve Program is a vital part of operations. Our Reserves are dedicated, vetted volunteers who support our firefighters during emergencies, training, and community events—helping keep Lewisville safe every day.

The process to join the reserve program is a multi-step process. A background check, Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification, vetting by our current Reserve leadership and attending at least 3 reserve meetings (monthly) are required to be in the reserve program.

If you're interested in volunteering with the Fire Department and Emergency Management, visit https://www.cityoflewisville.com/volunteer.
