The Mission

The Mission The Mission is a day shelter for those who need a safe and clean place to go, a place to shower, and to obtain food and other basic necessities to survive.

All are welcome. The best way to reach us is to call us or email [email protected]. The Mission is a local community Christian outreach. The first and foremost purpose, is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The second is to minister in practical ways to our community with a food pantry, mentoring, tutoring, job placement, and learning how to function in today's world. We are a faith-

based ministry that believes in helping our community one person at a time. Our staff and volunteers will do their best to help individuals who show the desire to "do better" with their lives.

Prayers requested for Pastor John Viland. Earlier today, John suffered a heart attack and was airlifted to an area hospital where a stent was successfully placed. Please lift him and his family up in prayer during his recovery. By God’s grace and healing hand, John is still able to serve.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers.

Homeless and elderly and people with little and in need. Jean
A Prayer for the Homeless in Bad Weather
"Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep compassion for those enduring the bitter cold, snow, and rain without the safety of a home. You are the protector of the vulnerable and a refuge in every storm.
Lord, we ask that Your loving arms surround every person sleeping on the streets, under bridges, or in temporary shelters tonight. Please provide them with physical warmth and protection from the freezing temperatures. Open the doors of churches and community centers to provide safe, heated spaces for all who are in need.
We also pray for those of us with warm homes, that we not be lulled into complacency. Stir our hearts to act with generosity—to share our food, donate blankets and warm clothing, and support the organizations working tirelessly on the front lines.
Protect the first responders and volunteers who serve in these challenging conditions. May Your presence be a covering, Your peace surround every heart, and Your mercy prevail through this storm. In Jesus’ name, Amen".
