This is a community-driven effort to shape the future of our parks, programs, facilities, and green spaces over the next 10+ years, and your voice matters. Just a friendly reminder that City waste pickup is different this week!

Wilson Downing is getting some traffic improvements!
🚗 A mini roundabout will replace the 4-way stop at Wilson Downing & Belleau Wood Drive.
🚶‍♀️‍➡️ Pedestrians will only need to cross one lane of traffic at a time due to crosswalks & raised islands.
➡️ A little ways up the road, a right turn lane will be added to Wilson Downing to get onto Tates Creek Road.
👀 Be on the lookout for more info about the mini roundabout & how it will work over the next couple weeks!
The details:
🚧 The intersection of Wilson Downing & Belleau Wood Drive will be closed from July 6-31.
🗓️ Starting next week, there will be construction in the area to get the site ready.

We're looking for some volunteers to help our Miracle League ball players the next two Saturdays:

⚾ Saturday, May 30
9:30 a.m.
1:30 p.m.

⚾ Saturday, June 6 - sign up for some or all games!
9:30 a.m.
10:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m.
12:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m.

Volunteers cheer on the athletes, help them bat, and get around the bases. It's pure fun - and a great opportunity for families and groups to serve together!
