From idea to 3D print in the Dixie Innovation Lab! 🎨➡️🖨️

Our Dixie Dolphins are stepping into the spotlight for this fall's Breeders' Cup World Championships at Keeneland! 🐎✨

Working inside our school library and Innovation Lab, students are designing custom collectible 3D-printed coins for the official Championships Horseshoe. The winning designs will actually be produced and handed out to guests at official Breeders' Cup events! 🏆

Huge thanks to the Breeders' Cup and the FCPS Fab Lab for giving our Dolphins this hands-on STEM opportunity.

📚☕ Welcome to Starbooks! 🐬✨

Our 4th grade Dolphins took a trip to "Starbooks" for a special Book Tasting! 📖

Students got to "sample" a variety of books across different genres to discover new topics, authors, and stories they might love to read this year. From mystery to historical fiction, our young readers were full of curiosity and excitement!

We had such a FIN-tastic first day of school! 🌊📚 Our halls were filled with happy faces, busy classrooms, lots of learning, and so much excitement!

Our Dolphins jumped right in and got to work, and we couldn’t be more proud of how wonderfully everyone started the year. 🐬✨

🐬💙 WELCOME BACK, DIXIE DOLPHINS! 💙🐬

The first day of school is almost here, and we are SO excited to welcome our Dolphins back for another amazing year! 🌊📚

Here are a few important reminders to help make our first days run smoothly:

🚶‍♀️ Walking Students In:�Parents/guardians are welcome to walk their students in during the first 3 days of school.

🚗 Morning Drop-Off:�Please use the car rider line for morning drop-off. This will help keep traffic moving and get everyone safely into the building.

🐬 Afternoon Pick-Up:�Students will be assigned a cone to wait at during dismissal. Please pull up to your child's cone, and your student will come to you.

💙 We know the first day can bring lots of excitement (and maybe a few butterflies!), but our staff is ready to make it a wonderful start for every Dolphin!

✨ What a MAGICAL Open House! ✨

Our hallways were bustling, the classrooms were filled with big smiles, and the energy in our building was absolutely soaring!

We were so thrilled to see our school packed with excited students, parents, and families catching up with old friends and meeting their teachers. 🏫💙

The classrooms are set, the teachers are ready, and the stage is set for an unforgettable year ahead. We are OFFICIALLY ready to begin the 26-27 school year! 🎒🎉

We had such an amazing time at our Kindergarten Connection Camp! We were so thrilled to meet our newest little Dolphins and get to know the wonderful families joining our school community. 💙✨

Our rising Kindergartners did a fantastic job exploring their new classrooms, practicing fun routines, making new friends, and getting a taste of what makes our school so special. They showed so much enthusiasm and bravery—we can already tell this is going to be an incredible school year!
