THANK YOU Dr. Trinadad, for your support.

This election season, do you want a trick or a treat?

Don't be tricked into voting for a TRICK dressed as a TREAT.
-Tayna Fogle has delivered useful treats and we want to continue benefiting from her service. Her treats to date:

1. 5 million dollar community pool

2. Student safety - cross walks

3. Humanizing the unhoused with dignity

4. Co -Sponsored The Gun Violence Task Force Force

Tayna ensures that people's basic needs are met. Too often, elected officials focus on building the buildings instead of building the people. Tayna Fogle builds the people!

Don't pick a trick - pick the TREAT! Tayna Fogle for District 1
I’m TAYNA FOGLE and I approve this message

I'm liviing in a political climate of some violence and abuse. A climate filled with the values of a persons outer appearance and speech out weighs community struggles. I've received backlash from community for speaking out and standing up for the unhoused, over surveillance, and funding (that is slow to be distributed) to the 1st District.I'm living in a community where I give my life and leadership to people through my lived experiences that will never see the Value and Grace that God has given me
1ST DISTRICT IS NOT FOR SALE

Partners for Youth announce youth worker and worksite recruitment for 2025 Summer Youth Job Training Program

Lexington, Ky. (Oct. 4, 2024) – Partners for Youth has opened registration for the 2025 Summer Youth Job Training Program (SYJTP) for youth workers. SYJTP provides workforce training opportunities for 300 Lexington students in the 10th, 11th and 12th-grades for the 2025-26 school year by teaming with Lexington’s business and community-based partners.
Open enrollment is an opportunity for youth interested in SYJTP to complete the enrollment process. Youth that have participated in previous years must sign up again. The Summer Youth Job Training Program includes the following:

Skills session (January 2025)
Career Fair (March 2025)
Verification Clinic (April 2025)
Parent Orientation (TBA)
Youth Worker Orientation (May 2025)
SYJTP Work Dates (June 9 – July 18, 2025)

Open enrollment has also begun for local businesses to request to be worksites for youth workers placed at their businesses for up to 20 hours a week for six weeks of the summer. Participating employers do not incur direct wage costs as part of the Summer Youth Job Training Program. All the youth workers’ wages are paid directly by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. However, each worksite’s investment in training, supervision and mentorship of youth workers is an invaluable component of the public-private partnership.
For more information, visit the Partners for Youth website.

This summer, the Governor's office announced a half-a-million-dollar grant to One Lexington (in partnership with Fayette Education Foundation) through the state's Everybody Counts program. We are utilizing this funding through our "Building Bridges to Opportunity" initiative, including expanded scholarship opportunities for students of color, skills scholarships for all students affected by gun violence, and more. $150,000 of that money has been set aside to supplement mental health costs for students, parents, and immediate family members affected by gun violence! That resource is available now! When I lost my daughter back in 2020, it wasn’t until I started receiving counseling that I was able to start my journey of healing truly.

One of the root causes and residual effects of gun violence is untreated trauma and mental health issues. Our goal with this program is "building" bridges to opportunity for our city's most vulnerable students. Due to financial disparities and the stigmatization of mental health, many communities who are affected by gun violence the most, lack access and opportunity to services.
