has issued a RFW for most of Minnesota tomorrow (3/28/2026) starting between 10 am to noon - until 7 pm. Critical fire weather is forecast with southwest winds gusting up to 35-45 mph and RH dropping as low as 17%.
🚫 NOT A BURN DAY 🚫 A wildfire that starts in snow-free dry vegetation under these windy dry conditions will spread rapidly.

We had a blast celebrating our Lexington Fire / Rescue firefighters and their accomplishments this weekend.

This weekend we had the great honor and privilege to recognize our firefighters for all of their hard work. It's an honor and privilege to work with such great dedicated firefighters who have dedicated themselves to our community. None of this is possible without the support from our community, families, Lexington Fire & Rescue Auxiliary, surrounding partners who also answer the call to ensure we have every resource possible to be successful.

Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who came out, bundled up in the cold and brought warm food for Santa Arpund Town 2026

Lexington residents were more than generous this year and with their kind donations to the Centennial Food Shelf,  Lexington Fire Department was able to drop off 1,827lbs of food and $456.27 in cash! Thank you all so much!!!

🎃🚒 Family Fun Day with the Fire Department! 🚒🎃

We had an awesome time carving pumpkins, eating pizza, and watching the game together! 🍕🏈 Everyone’s pumpkins turned out amazing, but special congratulations to Thea—this year’s Pumpkin Carving Contest winner! 🏆✨
