Back-to-School Event was a huge success! 🎉📚

It was wonderful to see the work of our Lexington Welcome Center, Lexington Public Schools, community partners local businesses, and volunteers come together to host such an amazing event for Lexington families. Your support and generosity helped make the day so special for everyone who attended.

Congratulations to our raffle winner, Yazmin! 🎊 She won a reusable shopping bag filled with school supplies and snacks. We hope it helps make the new school year even more exciting!

A special thank you to the Welcome Center for allowing us to be part of this awesome event. We are also incredibly grateful to our KLB supporters for donating the school supplies for our raffle. Your kindness and commitment to our community make a real difference.

Keep Lexington Beautiful would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Nebraska Recycling Council, Recycle Across America, and the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment for providing our recycling trailers with new standardized recycling labels!

These labels make it easier for everyone to recycle correctly.
Our community recycling trailers accept:
📦 Cardboard
📄 Paper
🥤 Plastic

The recycling trailers are FREE for the community to use and are located at the Glenn Hawks Service Building, 801 W. Vine Street, Lexington, NE. They are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

📍 Please remember to check in at the office before unloading your recyclables.

Together, we can make recycling easier, cleaner, and more effective for everyone. 💚♻️
