Say hello to Ashley Blas, author of Animal Party: A Book of Fun from A to Z!, at our Local Children’s Author Expo.

Ashley earned her law degree cm laude from the University of Toledo College of Law and holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan. Her book was inspired by trips to Riverbanks Zoo with her kids, where she would point out different animals and make up stories about them.

Meet Heather Harris Bergevin, author of Enough Elizabeths, at our Local Children’s Author Expo.

Heather has a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and is the owner of Barrow Editing and Design. Her debut picture book features a princess in a tower… who is scared of heights, a napping dragon and a reluctant knight.

Marina works in education and is completing her master’s in Elementary Education Arts in Teaching. Her book reflects her personal experiences of embracing one’s voice and overcoming challenges, no matter their size.
