Join Lexington Human Services and IMPACT Boston for a free, hands-on Introduction to Self-Defense workshop designed for all fitness and experience levels.

This interactive 2-hour program teaches practical verbal and physical self-defense skills while emphasizing empowerment, bodily autonomy, and personal safety. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to potentially unsafe situations through realistic role-play scenarios and experiential learning led by trained instructors.

The supportive environment allows participants to practice skills out loud and full force, helping build confidence and prepare them to respond effectively under stress.

Join local Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Elissa Goldman for Nutrition for Mental Health — a virtual cooking demonstration focused on simple, delicious foods that support mood, energy, and overall well-being.

Tune in from your own kitchen to cook along or simply sit back and enjoy the demonstration!

On Tuesday May 5th , Lexington Senior Services supported the Liberty Alzheimer’s Partnership event at the Lexington Community Center in collaboration with the Boston Center for Memory, which included a talk by Dr. Elizabeth Vassey and A.J. MacDonald on Alzheimer’s Trials, Treatments and Taking Care of yourself.
