August 21st is National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, a day to remember all the lives lost to overdoses involving illegally made fentanyl.

Today, we encourage to you have age-appropriate conversations about medication safety, talk about counterfeit pills, and know how to use and carry Narcan to respond to overdose.

If you would like to carry Narcan, join us at the Rockbridge Community Festival August 28th form 9:00-10:30 am and 1:00-2:30 pm for a brief training and to receive Narcan. Can't make it? Reach out for information about our next trainings.
