The Lexington Fire Department will be out at Broadway and Main St Saturday 8:30 to noon. Donations are greatly appreciated and will be going to a good cause! The QR code can be scanned for online donations and is registered with Lexington Fire Department.

At last nights Council meeting there were multiple awards given for courageous actions to our fireman.

Captain Shane West, Captain Kaden Kraft and FF Drew Deirking was awarded The Life Saving Award for life saving actions from a wreck on April 16th where the jaws of life were used.

Emergency Management member Steve Clary was awarded the Meritorious Service Award for responding to a Mayday of a firefighter from a different department while operating on the statewide wildfire outbreak on March 14th.
