Lexington is offering a solar Q&A tonight on Zoom!

Thinking about going solar? Lexington HeatSmart is now offering solar coaching! By talking to a HeatSmart Energy Advisor, you will get the guidance you need to go solar and install battery backup systems. Advisors can discuss system sizing to meet your home electrification or energy saving goals, different ownership models to consider, what credits and rebates you can expect, and how adding batteries can deliver resilience benefits and additional savings.

Join the Lexington HeatSmart Team and Revision Energy on Wednesday, May 1 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM for a virtual event that will give you the information you need to get started. Maggie Peard, the Town’s Sustainability Officer, will explain how solar fits into the Town’s broader climate goals; John Murphy from Revision Energy will provide an overview of solar and battery systems; and the Lexington HeatSmart Solar Advisors will introduce themselves. Bring questions!

I was excited to see my “little sister” and her fiancé out holding a sign for me today! I met Helen when she was just 11 — 19 years ago — through Big Sister Boston, which is such a great program for connecting people in the community. Thank you, again, Helen, for coming out today to support me!

Did you know that our town pool showers are heated 100% by the sun? It’s an amazing technology that is saving both emissions and dollars, but it’s not the standard yet in construction. Unfortunately, smart solutions like this may not happen if the right eyes with deep knowledge of the new, clean options aren’t overseeing our future plans.
