☀️ ✉️ A new tradition began this year at Lexington High School, and it’s already shining brightly!

Through a collaboration with the Leadership Council, members of the Class of 2026 became Sunshine Letter Pals with Lexington’s kindergarten students. Throughout the school year, seniors and kindergartners exchanged letters each month, sharing stories, answering questions, encouraging one another, and building friendships one note at a time.

Last week, those friendships came to life as the seniors finally met their Sunshine Letter Pals in person. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, hugs, and unforgettable moments as students connected with the buddies they had spent the year getting to know through handwritten letters.

Thank you to the Lexington High School Class of 2026 for investing in future Minutemen and helping establish an exciting legacy at Lex! 🙌

📚 School may be winding down, but the fun is just getting started!

As the countdown to summer begins, the Summer Library Program is getting ready to kick off, and it’s packed with opportunities for teens to read, explore, and win big all summer long. ☀️

From June 1 through July 25, teens can participate in the program to earn prizes just for reading, with even more opportunities to win throughout the summer. Weekly teen programs will also begin the week of June 7, giving students even more reasons to stay connected, engaged, and learning during break.

Getting started is easy. Simply stop by the Lexington Branch Library to pick up a Teen SLP Packet. No additional registration is required!

So grab a book, bring a friend, and get ready to turn the page on an adventure-filled summer! 📖 ✨

🚀 Rocket science? More like rocket SUCCESS! Mrs. Roseberry's seventh-grade science students designed and launched their own rockets using two-liter soda bottles, measuring flight time and distance as part of a hands-on engineering challenge.

Mr. Dewey's math class joined in to help with measurements and data collection, making this a true cross-curricular collaboration! 📏✏️

From design to liftoff, our students showed off their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This is what real-world learning looks like! 🔬
