Hello Everyone!
I SENT THIS OUT AS AN EMAIL OVER BREAK, BUT WE ARE APPARENTLY HAVING TECHNOLOGY ISSUES. SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THAT THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THIS EMAIL. IF YOU GOT THIS LAST WEEK, PLEASE "LIKE" THIS POST SO WE CAN DETERMINE WHO RECEIVED WHAT.
(Please read the whole post)
With the end of the semester coming so quickly, we have a couple things to take care of in the next couple weeks. First, we need more people to order shirts. As of right now, the t-shirts will be more than $30 unless we get eight more people to order them, however, if thirteen more people order shirts, they will be $25. These are shirts look very nice and are amazingly comfortable so you want to make sure to order one at our next meeting!
Speaking of which, OUR NEXT MEETING IS TONIGHT Tuesday, the 29th at 6 p.m in Study Room 1 in the Little Library. We will be talking about our new schedule for next semester, how best to communicate with you, our members, and ideas for events for next semester. If you are not at this meeting your availability will not be taken into consideration when we set the schedule for next semester.
We also need a list of people who are graduating this semester so we can get your honor cords. If you have been an inactive member during your time in Lambda Pi Eta, your cord will be red and white, if you have been active, you will get a gold cord; this distinction occurs on a national level within Lambda Pi Eta.
We will also be voting for our replacement Vice President on December 9th, the night of our Induction. Our current Vice President, Henry Rand, is graduating in December so we need a reliable, dedicated person to take his place. Anyone who wants to run should prepare a short statement about why they should be considered for the position.
Lastly, I want to take a moment to thank those of you who took the time to volunteer for ProAm Day! The event was amazing, and it was due, in part, to your assistance. I think it was a huge success!
Thank you so much and please let me know if you have any questions,
Katherine Huffman
