We provide fire suppression, Emergency medical and rescue services to parts of northern Davidson county and southern Forsyth County North Carolina.

Update 1345hrs
The NC Emergency Management regional response team is on scene assisting with operations. This will be an extended response. Please continue to avoid the area.

7/25/26 0900hrs we are currently operating on an overturned tractor trailer on Wildwood ln ( between old 52 & Eller rd). Please avoid the area. We’re being assisted by the county emergency management and others.

Leave the 🧨 to the professionals, we’re in a serious drought and you could start a fire very easily or lose a finger!

If you decide to have 🥃 leave the driving to someone sober.

When cooking please watch that pot! Unattended cooking fires are the leading cause of home fires in the US.

Enjoy America’s 250th birthday, it’s nothing personal but hopefully we don’t have to meet, it’s way to 🥵 out there.

🚒 HIGH FIRE DANGER: I sound like a broken record at this point, but High Fire Danger to Very High Fire Danger is returning to Central and Eastern sections of the state on Thursday. The combination of a very gusty southwest wind and extremely dry fuels, due to the ongoing severe drought in many areas outside the mountains, will lead to high fire danger on Thursday!

Dry grasses, dead leaves, and other tree litter could easily ignite and spread fire quickly. Folks in this area are urged to properly dispose of cigarette butts, matches, and any other flammable items in appropriate containers. Exercise caution if operating any equipment that could create sparks, and keep vehicles off of dry leaves and grass.

🔥 HEADS UP: High Fire Danger has returned to most of the state, a result of abnormally dry fuel conditions further exacerbated by high temperatures low relative humidity, and gusty SW winds of 10-25MPH, resulting in high fire danger across most of North Carolina! This will continue this afternoon and into Sunday.

Fire fuels could easily ignite and spread rapidly in these conditions. Residents and visitors to the area are urged to properly dispose of cigarette butts, matches, and any other flammable items in appropriate containers. Exercise caution if operating any equipment that could create sparks, and keep vehicles off dry leaves and grass.

Structure fire

On the night of 5/26/26 we responded to a structure 🔥 on Norman Shoaf rd. First arriving units found a kitchen fire. They quickly stretched a line and the fire was quickly controlled. There were no injuries.

Thanks to Wallburg Fire & Rescue and Hasty Fire Department who assisted.
