At the Council Meeting last night, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council unanimously approved updates to our local parking rules - prohibiting parking in bike lanes. As a co-chair of the StrEEEt Safety Task Force and co-sponsor of this ordinance with 3rd District Councilmember Tom Eblen, I look forward to seeing how this change can help move the needle toward creating a culture of safety for cyclists and multimodal transportation in our city.

🐾 Hey Lexington pet parents! Just a quick reminder to keep your pups on a leash when visiting local parks or strolling around town. LFUCG ordinances require dogs to be leashed in public spaces, and it helps keep everyone—people and pets—safe and comfortable.

🌳 Want some off‑leash fun? Check out one of Lexington’s fenced dog parks where pups can run and play freely!
