This past weekend, Debutante Kaleigh Symone West was formally presented to society ✨
A student at Desoto Central High School, Kaleigh reflects the confidence, service, and growth that P.E.A.R.L.S. Mentoring for Girls, Inc. continues to cultivate in young women.
She is actively involved in PM4G, Interact Club, Spirit Club, and Xi Beta Epsilon—demonstrating her commitment to excellence both in and beyond the classroom.
Kaleigh is the daughter of Ms. Monica Steward and the late Mr. Ladarrius West, with her grandfather, Mr. Bruce Blakes, proudly serving as her senior es**rt.
She has shown a strong commitment to service through a wide range of initiatives, including hygiene donations for the Mississippi Department of Child Protective Services, community walks, feeding the homeless, youth-centered projects, and volunteer efforts that directly impact those around her.
In her leisure time, Kaleigh enjoys dancing, cooking, learning new things, and shopping. She is guided by the scripture, Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you.”
She is es**rted by Trent Jacordric Howard, a sophomore at Amanda Elzy High School, who participates in football and baseball, holds the title of Mister Sophomore, maintains a 3.7 GPA, and is the son of Mr. Torien Howard and Mrs. Symone Carter.
Kaleigh plans to attend the University of Mississippi, where she will major in Mechanical Engineering and pursue a career as a Mechanical Engineer.
Her journey reflects resilience, service, and preparation for what’s next.
This is the work. This is the impact.
