New Faces of KYNG - Pvt. Sara See of Corbin just completed her Basic Training and AIT. She is with the 75th Troop Command.
"Before I went to Basic, it was my goal to be an honor grad. Every day I went in and did everything I could to meet my standards, work hard and be everthing I could to be a good Solider. As a female, there aren't many of us in the military, and I wanted to push myself to succeed and show that I could do it. So, becoming an honor grad was a goal I accomplished."

Very proud of these two right here. We work with countless individuals that fill our ranks, day in, and day out. Some are just looking for a way to pay for college, and the #1 reason isn’t always “Service to Country”.

Gobinda Dhakal & Madhab Paini are natives of Nepal. They moved here about 4 years ago to make a better life for themselves and their families.

They both take great pride in their native country, as well as America. According to them, in their home country of Nepal, serving your people is one of the most honorable things you can do.

Because of their gratitude for the numerous opportunities that have been bestowed upon them since coming here, they both decided that they wanted to serve the great state of Kentucky, and the United States of America.

The Kentucky Army National Guard is a diverse organization, because “color” isn’t a qualification, and we become even more diverse each and every year.

Congrats to you both, and welcome to the family! 🇺🇸
