It’s not easy being me

I’m not well versed in law, but something about the crimes of a president being immune from prosecution doesn’t make for good optics. Then again maybe the decision is correct & the choices made about who we elect as president ought to be done with greater duty and care. I wasn’t exactly thrilled about presidential pardons either. Clinton taking suggestions from his brother in law to whom gets a pardon for Mark Ridge isn’t less objectionable than Trump giving a pardon to Kushner. The office of the President certainly offers opportunities for one to abuse the opportunities for personal gain. When I was a child I thought only of riding air force one everywhere, get free vacations, and have free places for my friends to stay. Poker games and my own chef, apparently I wasn’t aware of how much one could abuse the office.

Just a reminder that our business meeting is tomorrow! We’ll have a lot of discussions about campaigns and the upcoming November elections, as we have Thomas Watercott, libertarian candidate-activist-consultant in attendance. He’ll have his petition available for registered voters in the 6th congressional district to sign in order to make him an official write in candidate!

This is a great win for liberty! The Trump Administration implemented it, and the Biden administration defended it. Yet, SCOTUS struck down Trump’s bump stock ban! They determined that the ATF did not have the power to “stretch” the definition of “machine gun” to include other devices, such as bump stocks.

It’s nice to see government powers getting checked.

The Supreme Court has struck down a Trump-era ban on bump stocks.

It’s past time we put some new elected officials in Raleigh that will hold the state troopers accountable for all the harm they cause to North Carolinians and out of state visitors

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is dealing with a trooper shortage of roughly 270 positions and looking for ways to recruit more staff.

On January 14th, 2020, our county commissioners voted unanimously to make Davidson County a Second Amendment Constitutional Rights Protection County (Second Amendment Sanctuary). The resolution that established this, established “Davidson County Board of Commissioners wishes to express its deep commitment to protecting Davidson County Citizens’ Second Amendment Rights”, and “the Davidson County Board of Commissioners wishes to express opposition to any law, regulation, or other act that would infringe on the Second Amendment Rights of Davidson County Citizens”

Well, it’s time for our county commissioners to act on this, and stand in opposition to the planning and zoning department. Those tyrants have decided to bully Claybreakers Shotgun Range over land that they have previously given the green light to use as a range. They have ordered them to stop (thereby limiting patrons from exercising 2A rights at a place designed for exercising 2A rights). They have also issued excessive fines, over what was practically their own blunder.

Please help Claybreakers, and take a stand against the county government. Call the zoning board, and let them know that we the people will not stand for this!

If you support legalizing medicinal cannabis, please, reach out to Larry Potts or Sam Watford and tell them you want them to vote for this bill!

North Carolina is on the cusp of legalizing medical cannabis, and you can help.

The NC Compassionate Care Act would allow cannabis to be prescribed and distributed for medical needs, and it has already passed the Senate.

This bill would be an incredible help countless veterans with PTSD, cancer patients, and many other people with health conditions who would like to be able to use cannabis, which is far safer and more effective than the currently legal big pharma products.

It only needs to be passed by the House, and then it'll be off to the Governor for signature.

Here's how you can help:

1. If you are a NC resident, go to the link in the comments to find your State Rep and ask them to support the NC Compassionate Care Act.

2. If you aren't an NC resident, go in the comments and tag any NC resident you know who supports medical cannabis so they can contact their Rep.
