On January 7, 2026 the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with Orijin State Tablets began an advanced class tablet program. Henderson County was one of the eight counties in West Tennessee to receive this program. The program ran through April 2026. There were a total of five people to complete this program, and they received multiple certificates. Congratulations to each of you on your progress.

Yesterday, the Henderson County Criminal Justice Center and Southwest Adult Education proudly celebrated a GED graduation—marking a powerful step forward for several individuals committed to bettering their futures.

Earning a GED is no small accomplishment. It takes dedication, discipline, and a willingness to change. These graduates have shown that it’s never too late to pursue an education and create new opportunities.

We are proud of each graduate for putting in the hard work and taking advantage of the resources available to them. Programs like this are an important part of rehabilitation, helping individuals return to our community with the tools they need to succeed.

Congratulations to all who completed their GED—we wish you continued success in the journey ahead.

Our most recent GED graduates!!!

The GED program in our facility has blossomed over the past year with many new participants and completions. We are extremely proud of each individual who takes this step toward bettering their future, and we want to thank everyone who has a positive impact on these students while at our facility.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize the outstanding cooperation between our local and regional law enforcement officers during Operation TriStar Hammer. This coordinated initiative led to 61 arrests and reinforced our shared mission of protecting our respective communities.

This operation would not have been possible without the strong collaboration and dedication of our partner agencies across West Tennessee. By working together, we were able to target illegal drug activity and make our communities safer.

Thank you to all the agencies involved for your teamwork, professionalism, and relentless effort.

American Job Center will be holding classes to help learn how to complete a resume and interviews the class is twice a month. After they are released their resume will be stored in a database and they will help them find work. Also a special thank you to Ms. Melissa Rodgers for teaching the classes.
