This should go without saying, but please don’t pull up bushes and use the bowl as a fire pit. Other things to avoid, parking anywhere other than the parking lot, smashing rocks on the skate surface, damaging the rails or lips, etc. These are all things we have seen this spring, and it’s sad tbh. If you see someone being an idiot, please tell them to stop. If something needs to be cleaned up, please us know. If someone’s doing something illegal, call the cops. We want people to be able to enjoy the park, but it’s hard when a few ruin it for everyone else.

The park is getting some love before winter with a full pressure wash and reseal and will be closed on the 5th and 6th while that seal coat is applied and drying. Let us know how it rides this weekend and tag us in your clips!

Tomorrow night is National Night Out from 5:30 - 7:30. Lexington Police Department will be collecting supplies for Western NC and the communities that were impacted by Hurricane Helene. If you have any of the listed items and can donate, please bring them to one of the following parks tomorrow night during National Night Out!

Washington Park - 100 Bookington Drive
Grimes Park - 25 Hege Drive
4th Street Park - 412 East 4th Street
Lexington Skate Park - 301 West 9th Avenue

In response to the devastating aftermath following Hurricane Helene, the following items will be collected during tomorrow's National Night Out for our neighbors in Western North Carolina:

-water
-non-perishable foods
-sanitary supplies (hand sanitizer, wipes, toiletries)
-baby formula
-diapers
