Congratulations to our own Pat Moloney, recipient of the Fayette County Bar Association's highest honor, The Henry T. Duncan Award!
"With the skills that you pick up in the practice of law, you also get a gift of knowledge that allows you to help the people who are in need of your services and your legal talent," said Pat, in his acceptance speech. "And with that gift, you get an obligation to make our system of justice work better so there will be a greater respect for the rule of law. Thank you very much. I am humbled by this award, and I will cherish it as long as I live.”
We're proud of you, Pat!

Happy ! Officially declared by President Dwight Eisenhower has been celebrated and honored every year on this day since!
“The rule of law is the bedrock of American rights and liberties—in times of calm and unrest alike. The 2021 Law Day theme: “Advancing the Rule of Law, Now,” reminds all of us that we the people share the responsibility to promote the rule of law, defend liberty, and pursue justice.”

This office has provided me with probably the worst customer service I have ever received. Hung up on twice, then ignored when I try to call back. I just wanted some information. I got called difficult & was told that no one wants to help me. Then when I tried to defend myself against such rude language, I was hung up on. Thanks for that.
Get some better people to represent your office. These women are clearly childish, petty, immature, & ill equipped to work with the public.
Check out a column I recently penned about lost places in Lexington connected to our legal community which was published in the Fayette County Bar Association's regular newsletter.
The two sites highlighted were both subjects in my book, Lost Lexington. I also have a new book coming out in January about a true crime that occurred in Lexington: The Murder of Geneva Hardman. If you're interested, follow and like those pages for more!
This week is the National Celebration of Pro Bono through the American Bar Association. A time to acknowledge the generosity of volunteer lawyers and encourage participation from those in the profession who aren't yet volunteering.
Each year hundreds of lawyers give freely of their time and talent through Legal Aid of the Bluegrass pro bono programs. Their contributions make an enormous impact in the lives of low-income and vulnerable Kentuckians who are at risk of losing something, be it their home, income, family, health, safety, or independence.
We want to extend our thanks to every volunteer lawyer who has joined us in the fight to ensure ALL people have equal justice under law. You inspire us everyday!
Thank you also to Fayette County Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association & Lawyer Referral Service, & Kentucky Bar Association whose partnerships have helped us respond to the unique legal needs that exist within each of our local communities.
This is it folks! Only 13 hours left in our Pappy for Pro Bono raffle. We are $2,325 away from raising $10,000 to support our Pro Bono programs.
Help us reach $10,000 and be part of making a difference in the lives of vulnerable Kentuckians. Buy a ticket or donate today!
