The VA launched a mobile medical unit to increase access to health care for homeless vets. The Lighthouse Ministries is currently the only location with regular stops. The MMU is here on the third Wednesday of every month from 9 AM–noon. The next visit is scheduled for November 20.

Thank you to Spectrum News 1 for doing a story on the $10,000 grant from the KFC Foundation and $20,000 grant from the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. We are able to replace our struggling industrial refrigerator/freezer and ensure we don't lose food and miss serving meals. The support of the community keeps us running. We appreciate all of our donors–regardless the amount!

The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and the KFC Foundation help continue the ministry's transformative work.

It's finally here! Our Lighthouse Ministries' 20th Anniversary Celebration is tonight at The Kentucky Castle. New this year, the evening will begin with a fun reception at 5:45 PM in the party tent, featuring hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, a bourbon pull, and beautiful Kentucky-themed silent auction packages. The dinner, program, and a special surprise will follow at 6:30 PM in the greenhouse event space.

We're proud to share that we received a Kentucky Fried Wishes grant of $10,000 from the . This grant will be used to replace our walk-in cooler/freezer that has needed multiple repairs recently. If it fails, we will lose several thousand pounds of food. Thank you to the KFC Foundation for supporting our cause and investing in our community.
