Our vision at Lexington City Schools is to create empowered learners, thinkers, and citizens. This bulletin board at LDMS is a great measure of realizing our vision — last year’s seventh and eighth grade students wrote these letters of advice to this year’s middle schoolers. We really do have the most amazing students! And we have the most incredible staff helping our students grow as learners, thinkers, and citizens. ♥️

The sensory garden at Waddell Elementary School is open to students weekly as a recess option for all grade levels. Students can choose to explore and enjoy the garden, pretend play in the mud kitchen or stepping stones area, make music or participate in various nature crafts available. 🌻
