I would like to extend my gratitude to all members who assisted in staffing our trucks and station over the past three days. Every task assigned to our team was executed with efficiency and professionalism. To the officers who ensured our operations ran smooth over the last two days, thank you. I am honored to serve as District Chief of our great station.

Thank you to Precise Rebuilders for clearing our station parking lot and Jamie's Cafe' & Catering
for feeding our hungry firefighters while they served our community.

District 7 Chief Jessie Overman

No words will ever be enough—but today, we still pause to remember.

One year ago, we laid to rest our Fire Chief, Lynn Murphy, and the space he left behind can never truly be filled. He was more than a chief—he was a mentor, a storyteller, a steady presence, and the heart of this department. His daily stories, shared with humor and wisdom, taught lessons you couldn’t find in a book and reminded us who we were and why we served.

We carry him with us in every call, every conversation, and every story that starts with, “Remember when Chief used to say…” His legacy lives on in the values he instilled and the family he helped build.

No words will ever be enough to capture what he meant to us—but our remembrance, our service, and our brotherhood will always speak for him.

Rest easy, Chief. You are missed beyond measure and remembered always. ❤️🚒
