Please consider signing and sharing this petition to revoke the breed restriction ban in McConnels Trace neighborhood. It includes homeowners, too!

The following dog breeds are now banned:

Great Dane
Husky
Pitbull
German Shepherd
Doberman
Akita
Chow
Alaskan malamute
Rottweiler
St. Bernard

Research shows that breed bans are ineffective. What is effective are community based approaches such a bite prevention training!

Hello, I wanted to send this message to you guys who are supposed to be representing the people of Lexington.
RE: Confederate Statues in Lexington. I am a woman of color who has lived in Lexington most of my life. My parents and there family lived here many generations and were slaves in KY. I don't think that the statues should not come down at the courthouse. I would like to see both sides represented, meaning instead of a plaque which says slaves were sold here, I'd like to see statues commission ed that show families being ripped apart and sold. Mothers whose children are sold away from them. Wife's whose husband are sold away. This would be impactual and truly a history lesson like the Holocaust museum in DC.
I read that you are taking your case against the t-shirt printer. Hands-on Originals to the Supreme Court. You want your message printers and artists to be free to oppose messages contrary to the LGBTQ agenda, do you not? If you were printing t-shirts, would you want to be forced to make your money promoting verses from Romans or Leviticus against same-sex relations? In American, religious and speech freedom mean that those opposed to gender-flexing of various kinds should have the same freedom of advocacy and refusal which you want--as the constitution guarantees.

The 13th Amendment also says no one can be FORCED to do work for another, involuntary servitude. Hands On Originals will sell you t shirts --just not that message contrary to the owner-artist's religious convictions, protected by the first Amendment. I think you should quit while you are ahead, having gained gay marriage --instead of losing again in the courts. If you would win, America's historic freedom of speech and religious exercise would lose. Eventually, the LGBTQ's would lose to Islam.
