Though our office will be closed tomorrow, officers will be on duty and available by calling 803-359-6260 for non-emergency calls or 9-1-1 for emergencies.

Town Hall will be closed on Friday, April 3 for Good Friday.

It will reopen on Monday, April 6 for normal business hours.

Yard debris scheduled to be picked up on April 3 will be picked on April 10.

Yesterday afternoon, Chief Terrence Green, Major Matt Davis, and Chris Carver of the Lexington Police Department Foundation presented Joseph Garguilo of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) with twenty $50 gift cards which will be given to TSA staff who have worked without pay for several weeks at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport.

This donation was approved and supported by the LPD Foundation board and furthers its mission of supporting our officers, department, and community.

PLEASE SHARE: On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the two pictured individuals entered the Peach Cobbler Factory at 5570 Sunset Boulevard and ordered $ 325.00 worth of food. The individuals paid with a credit card that later reported the transaction as a fraudulent action.

PLEASE SHARE - The Lexington Police Department needs to identify these two subjects who are alleged to have been involved in a shoplifting at Kohl's on March 2, 2026. The subjects selected over two dozen fragrances and left the store without paying for the items.

The value of the merchandise stolen was $1,063. The subjects left the store parking lot in a silver sedan.

The subject selected multiple items of women's clothing, shoes, and a purse. The total value of items stolen was $292. The subject left the store parking lot in a sedan.

During last weekend's C.A.L.E.A. Celebration Awards Banquet in Tucson, Arizona, Chief Terrence Green, Inspector Missy Silcox, and Lieutenant Thomas Stowe were presented with our sixth consecutive C.A.L.E.A. Accreditation Award.

The Lexington Police Department, under Chief Terrence Green's leadership and guidance, has been awarded "Meritorious" status for being continually accredited with C.A.L.E.A. for more than 15 years.
