We are so excited to welcome Bailey Rae to Liberal, KS! She takes the stage at 6:00 PM at Blue Bonnet Park, bringing her signature sound to Liberal’s Night Out. Bring your lawn chairs and join us this Saturday for an evening of live music, food trucks, vendors, and community fun.

This Saturday, Liberal’s Night Out comes to Blue Bonnet Park! Festivities begin at 4:00 PM, with the Liberal Community Band kicking off the night at 5:00 PM. Enjoy an evening of live music, food trucks, vendors, and community fun.

Nothing says summer quite like popsicles and sunshine. ☀️

This past week, officers made their way around town, stopping by local parks, splash pads, and the Baker Arts Center to hand out popsicles and enjoy time with the community.

This afternoon, Officer Joel Lopez and Officer Timothy Matsen graduated in the 358th Training Class from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center. They will begin their Field Training next week.

Hold on tight! Some pretty strong winds are headed our way. Stay weather aware this afternoon!

Keep an eye on the weather today as much of southwest Kansas will have the setup for highly impactful downburst winds this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts over 70+ mph will be possible especially for areas outline in the enhanced risk.
