During National Police Week, we take time to recognize the people behind the badge. These are the men and women who show up each day with a commitment to serve others, often in moments of uncertainty, stress, and sacrifice. They are more than the uniform. They are parents getting their kids ready before a shift, friends answering late-night calls, neighbors invested in the safety and well-being of this community. They carry the weight of difficult days, the responsibility of critical decisions, and the quiet moments that most will never see.

Policing is not just a profession, it’s a calling rooted in service, compassion, and resilience. This week is a reminder to pause and recognize the humanity, dedication, and heart that exists behind every badge.

This week, and every week, we are proud to stand beside them, grateful for their service, and honored to call them our own.

Happy Mother’s Day

Some of the strongest people we know don’t wear a badge, but they stand behind the ones who do. They hold families together during long shifts, missed holidays, and late-night calls. They carry worry quietly, love endlessly, and show up every single day with unwavering strength.

To the mothers in our department and throughout our community: your resilience, sacrifice, and unconditional love do not go unnoticed. You are the foundation that so many depend on, and the reason so many keep going.

Today, we honor you, we thank you, and we hold space for everything you give, seen and unseen.
