The Board of Seward County Commissioners will be interviewing three candidates for the Fire Chief position tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Executive Session Meeting Room.

As the Board of Seward County Commissioners also serves as the Rural Fire Board, the Fire Chief position reports directly to the Commissioners.

The Commissioners will convene in Executive Session to conduct the interviews.

Please be advised that the Seward County Event Center and Fairgrounds Complex will be closed this Friday, May 29, 2026, in observance of a funeral service.

Regular operations and facility access will resume on Monday, June 1, 2026. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
