What a cool event!

The Anthony Wayne Football program invited students with developmental disabilities to experience Victory Day with the varsity team on July 30, 2026, at the high school in Whitehouse. Participants got to take the field under the stadium lights alongside a Generals player serving as their mentor.

Victory Day participants were announced by name as they entered the field through the team tunnel, just like the Generals at home games. They ran drills and got to score a touchdown with play-by-play announcing on the loudspeaker.

Each participant received an authentic Anthony Wayne football jersey and a commemorative mini football helmet. The evening concluded with free walking tacos and slushies.
