Summer storytime is here!

Please note that our Monday storytime will be held at Rocky Hill Park throughout the summer. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday storytime will take place at the library as usual.

We're also excited to offer a special Bilingual Storytime with Miss Cristal once a month on Fridays!

All storytimes begin at 10:30 am.

We look forward to singing, dancing, reading, and learning with you all summer long.

Our storytime programs will be on a short break from May 18–May 31 as we prepare for Summer Reading.

Storytimes will resume on June 1 with Monday Move & Groove at Rocky Hill Park, continuing all summer long!

Library Parking Lot Construction Notice

Liberty Lake Public Works will be performing asphalt replacement and restriping of the library parking lot from May 18 through May 31.

During this time, the library parking lot will be closed to the public. Visitors are asked to please use the adjacent Police Department parking lot for access.

📚The Library will remain open during normal operating hours throughout the duration of the project.

🚗 Curbside Pickup Available: We will also be offering curbside pickup during construction. We have a designated curbside pickup spot located in the Police Department parking lot for your convenience. Simply give us a call when you arrive and staff can bring your holds out to your vehicle. Need to return library materials? We can collect those from your car as well.

Storytime Reminder: Storytime will be on a brief break during this time (May 18–31) as we prepare for our Summer Reading season. We’ll be back in June with our summer storytime schedule!

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these improvements and look forward to welcoming everyone back to a freshly updated parking lot!

Library Access Update – Mission Ave Construction

Due to ongoing road construction on Mission Ave, patrons will need to access the library using eastbound Mission Ave only (traveling from Country Vista toward Molter). Traffic on Mission Ave has been reduced to one eastbound lane while crews prepare for new pavement.

The library remains open, and access to businesses along Mission will continue throughout the project.

We appreciate your patience while these improvements are being completed!

QUICK UPDATE on the Mission Ave Road Construction project:

Starting May 11th, E Mission Ave traffic will be one lane only in the eastbound direction (Country Vista toward Molter). This is to allow the contractor more access to the road surface to begin preparations for new pavement. Business access along this route will remain open on both sides of the street for the duration of the project with slight interruptions when the new pavement is placed in early June.
