Rules of Engagement
The purpose of this page is to share important information with our community and create the opportunity for open communication and dialogue about our school and school programs. To this end, by liking, commenting, retweeting, following, sharing, or otherwise engaging with this page, you agree to follow the following Rules of Engagement:

• Engage in open conversation

not personal issues. This page is not meant to replace regular communication channels for sharing individual issues or concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a school or staff member will be removed.

• Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.

• Refrain from using our page to promote your business, product or candidate. However, we may occasionally include a post of thanks to our supporters, business partners, or information about school-related fundraisers or school-sponsored event benefiting local charities.

• Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to the education of students in CVSD. Please keep the conversation related to our district. Comments of all kinds are welcome as long as they directly relate to our school.

• Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them directly, please, via email or phone.

• Be aware. Misuse of school resources including this social media platform by students or employees may result in disciplinary action.

• Employees of CVSD may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. District policy encourages staff to keep their personal lives personal.

• All activity using the district network and/or district technologies may be monitored and retained. This page is for the community and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about the district. Just know, however, that abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removal of a specific posting or the blocking/removal from our page.

🚒 A big thank you to the members of the Spokane Valley Fire Department for spending time with our 2nd grade students this fall for the fire safety lessons and again today for the engine tour!

Students learned valuable fire safety skills, including how to stay safe in an emergency, the importance of smoke alarms, and ways to help protect themselves and their families. The highlight was an up-close tour of a fire engine, where students had the opportunity to see the equipment firefighters use and ask great questions.

We are grateful for our community partners who help make learning meaningful and memorable. Thank you for investing in the safety and education of our students! 🚒🔥👨‍🚒

We are excited to announce the winners of the 2026 Kids Run The School raffle! Now we mark our calendars — these Explorers take charge and will “run the school” on Friday, June 5th. It’s sure to be a fun-filled day to remember!

An enormous thank you goes to our very generous families and community for their contributions. Together we raised $6,448 to support Liberty Creek’s art program and activities! Many artistic and creative opportunities are ahead! 🎨

🌸 We are blooming at Liberty Creek! 🌸

This past week, students participated in a schoolwide activity where they reflected on how they have grown this year. From building confidence and kindness to strengthening friendships, reading heart words, and adding and subtracting, our students shared meaningful ways they have blossomed throughout the school year.

We are so proud of the growth, resilience, and community our students continue to show every day. Together, we are growing, learning, and blooming at Liberty Creek! 💙🌱
