Notice is hereby given that a public drawing will be held to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the ballot for the March 3, 2026 election in Liberty County, Texas. The drawing will take place on December 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Generations Coffee & Sandwich Shop, located at 1806 Sam Houston Street in Liberty, Texas, in accordance with the Texas Election Code.

Candidates and voters from across Liberty County will gather on Tuesday, January 27th from 6–8 PM at the Dayton Community Center. This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions, and get engaged as we head into the 2026 election cycle.

Candidate tables are available for local, statewide, and federal campaigns — with discounted early-bird pricing through January 1st.

The Liberty County Republican Party is available for last-minute candidate filings 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆, 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟲:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠, at the Jack Hartel Building (318 San Jacinto St, Liberty, TX 77575).

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: The City of Liberty has the street temporarily blocked for water main repairs. Simply inform one of the crew members that you need access to the Jack Hartel Building, and they will allow you through the barricades.

As we close out the year, we invite you to join us for our final Quarterly Business Meeting of 2025. We will gather on Thursday, December 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the Jack Hartel Building to take care of year-end business and enjoy some fellowship together during this Christmas season.

If you plan to file for a place on the 2026 Republican Primary ballot, we will be accepting applications at this meeting. Several precinct chair positions are also open for those who would like to serve on the County Executive Committee of the Liberty County Republican Party.

We anticipate a strong turnout from candidates who will be in next year's primary race. Each candidate in attendance will be given time to share their vision with everyone present.
