Over the past few days numerous accounts of the selfless actions and impacts Deputy India Rackley made on this world have been shared. One of her biggest missions was taking care of her students at AR Lewis Opportunity School. There were countless times that Deputy Rackley put being a law enforcement officer aside and went above and beyond just to meet their basic needs.

Deputy Rackley's family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office Foundation for the distinct purpose of providing groceries and other basic necessity items to the students of AR Lewis Opportunity School. By clicking the link below you can continue to be the hands and feet of Deputy Rackley by allowing her legacy of service to live on.

Our office is deeply saddened by the passing of Deputy India Rackley.
She made such an impact in the work she did within the community and public safety. She will be greatly missed by many. Please keep her family, coworkers and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

This morning at 1:39am our world lost a hero. After an intense month-long battle with cancer, Deputy India Rackley has went on to be with her Lord and Savior. The lives that Deputy Rackley impacted are too numerous to count. She loved hard and served hard. PCSO is and will forever be proud that she chose to serve the thin blue line alongside us.

Please remember her family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days. May we all carry the torch she has left behind, living each moment with a mission to love and serve others.
