Day or night, weekends and holidays, our volunteers stand ready to answer the call and serve our community. Their commitment, training, and sacrifice help ensure that help is on the way whenever it is needed.

As the only all-volunteer fire department in Guilford County, we are proud of the men and women who give their time, talents, and dedication to protecting our neighbors. They balance family, work, and personal responsibilities while remaining prepared to respond at a moment’s notice.

Thank you to our volunteers for your selfless service and unwavering commitment to our community. We are honored to serve alongside you.

We had a great evening of fellowship as we gathered for the Firefighters Appreciation Dinner. As part of the festivities we wanted to honor our former Board President.

for his dedicated service as President of the Board and as a member of the Board of Directors. His leadership, commitment, and countless hours of volunteer service have helped guide our department and strengthen our mission to serve the community.

As the only all-volunteer fire department in the county, we depend on dedicated individuals who are willing to give their time and talents to ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens. We are grateful for Lacy Smith’s contributions and lasting impact on our department.

With the recent dry weather conditions, we have seen an increase in brush and wildland fires across our area. These incidents can spread quickly and require specialized equipment and training to safely protect lives, property, and natural resources.

That’s why ongoing training on our brush truck is so important. Our firefighters regularly train to sharpen their skills, become familiar with equipment, and stay prepared to respond when seconds matter.
