CDC urges precaution

May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are urging the public to take preventative steps to avoid getting bit by a tick, the parasitic arachnid responsible for transmitting Lyme Disease and other illnesses to humans.

They might be going slow but so should we! As it gets warmer out, we can expect for turtles and wildlife crossing the roads.
