🌾 **Calling All Home Cooks!** 🌾
Do you have an award-winning rice recipe? Put your culinary skills to the test at the **Texas Rice Festival Rice Cooking Contest**!
📅 **Date:** Saturday, September 26, 2026
📍 **Location:** Winnie Community Building
⏰ **Contest Hours:** 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
📝 **Entry Check-In:** 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. ONLY
🎉 **FREE to enter and open to the public!**
🏆 **Contest Categories:**
• Appetizer
• Vegetable or Side Dish
• Main Dish
• Dessert
🍚 **Entry Requirements:**
Each recipe must include either:
• **1 cup of raw rice**, **OR**
• **2 cups of cooked rice or a rice product**
