🔥 Liberty Fire Department – Firefighter of the Month 🔥
The Liberty Fire Department is proud to recognize Firefighter/Paramedic Clifford Wise as our Firefighter of the Month.
Clifford began his journey in the fire service as a volunteer in 1980. From the very beginning, he developed a deep passion for helping others, which led him to earn his certifications and become a paid firefighter. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to extensive training, continually building his knowledge and sharpening his skills.
Clifford exemplifies what it truly means to be an extraordinary firefighter. His experience, leadership, and steady presence on scene make him someone others naturally look to in critical moments. He consistently goes above and beyond—whether it’s mentoring newer firefighters, sharing knowledge gained through decades of service, or ensuring every call is handled with the highest level of professionalism and care. His calm demeanor under pressure and his commitment to doing things the right way set a standard for others to follow. Clifford doesn’t just respond to emergencies—he prepares for them, studies them, and learns from them, all to better serve the community and his team.
Clifford’s calling to this profession is deeply personal. As a child, he was rescued during a swimming pool incident, an experience that inspired him to spend his life helping others in their time of need.
When it comes to training, Clifford’s favorite area is rescue, where his commitment to preparedness and lifesaving skills truly shines. His goals reflect his selfless nature—he strives to continuously improve, not only to better serve his patients, but also to support and mentor his peers, students, and coworkers.
Outside of the firehouse, Clifford enjoys spending quality time with his family, attending church, fishing, and playing the occasional round of golf.
Please join us in congratulating Firefighter/Paramedic Clifford Wise for his dedication, service, and unwavering commitment to our community.
