⚠️ Watch for:
• Blocked roadways from fallen trees or debris
• Downed stop signs or traffic control devices
• Flooded roadways and washed-out shoulders
• Utility lines impacted by fallen trees

🌳 If a tree is down on a utility line:
• Stay away from the tree, wires, and nearby objects.
• Keep children, pets, and others clear of the area.
• Call 911 immediately.
• Contact your utility provider to report the damage.

Upcoming Road Closure for six to eight weeks beginning Monday, June 15

Clay County Road & Bridge will be closing N Eastern Ave, 0.64 miles north of NE 120th Street and Jesse James Farm Road, 0.14 miles north of NE 129th Street.

These temporary closures are to replace a narrow box culvert with a wider one to improve traffic safety and to improve stormwater drainage. Duration is weather permitting.

UPDATE: Due to unforeseen challenges, Sycamore Street will be closed Wednesday, June 10 as well, to complete the culvert replacement. Estimated closure duration is 8:30am-4:30pm.

Upcoming Road Closure Tuesday, June 9, 8:30 am—4:30 pm:

Clay County Road & Bridge will be closing Sycamore Street off NE 176th Street for a culvert replacement, weather permitting.

Bridge Closure effective June 11, 2026

The NE 172nd Street bridge, located just east of Bishop Rd, will be closed for 4-6 months for a bridge replacement, weather permitting.
