First graders at EPiC Elementary hosted a "Hydrate the Heroes" fundraiser where they collected water, sports drinks, and money to benefit the Liberty Fire Department. Students wrote and made announcements, made a video, and designed signs to promote the project. They collected 72 cases of drinks and $417.55 to stock all three fire stations with snacks and treats. Today, firefighters visited to collect the donations and meet the class. Way to go, first grade!
