Ekisha and Vihaan Sharma spent six months planning, growing, and serving through their "Seeds of Hope" initiative: a community project combining gardening, sustainability, leadership, financial literacy and service.

From planting seeds and managing a budget to organizing a community Garden Tea Gathering, they brought together 35 family members, friends, and neighbors and raised $739 to help feed children around the world.

This project was more than fundraising. It was about leadership, compassion, and inspiring others to make a difference. It shows what can happen when young, passionate individuals come together and move whole communities. We are incredibly grateful for the Sharma family's dedication to FMSC.

Their generous donation was made in loving memory of their grandmother, Mrs. Rani Sharma.

Madelyn gathered all her friends and chose to celebrate her 12th birthday at FMSC Libertyville! As part of her special day, she received our new "Be the Good" birthday t-shirt.

The next time you spot someone wearing an FMSC shirt, let them know they're changing lives around the world. All the effort our volunteers put towards organizing groups, celebrating with us or simply just talking through our front doors make ALL the difference!

Did You Know? Kids 5 years and older can volunteer at FMSC! We even have booster seats to help them reach the packing tables. Individuals and families are always welcome!

The Saleh family joined us for the first time, dressed in matching green and ready to pack. Their 5-year-old son had so many questions and his curiosity and excitement made the experience even more special.

Moments like these remind us that it's never too early to start making a difference. Join us for a packing shift today: https://hubs.la/Q04w3Cx30

For the last three years, Ken's joined us to celebrate his birthday at FMSC! This lap around the sun we celebrated 82 and his enthusiasm for volunteering and serving others.

We're so grateful for our super volunteers, like Ken, who decide to put the orange hairnet on and do good for others. We can't do the work without you!

After a night of packing meals, The Orchard youth group had plans to go out for ice cream. When asked if they wanted to use their ice cream money to provide a child with a daily meal for an entire year, without hesitation, every student agreed. Instead of spending $106 on themselves, they chose to invest it in the life of a child they'll never meet.

That's the kind of selflessness that changes the world. One small choice can make a life time of a difference. What a testimony of God's love and the power of kids helping kids!

What happens when three Home Depot stores come together for a little friendly competition?

Teamwork and dedication!

Volunteers from Home Depot Round Lake Beach, Vernon Hills, and Store 1987 in Glenview participated in a 'FMSC Smackdown.' They organized 38 volunteers for a packing competition inspired by the WWE televised event that airs every Friday night since 1999.

Collectively, they'll host 3 smackdown sessions and the winning team not only gets bragging rights, but also gets to host a custom championship belt at their store!

Sign up your team for some competitive packing!
