It has many of career positions available to interested individuals. The positions provide for clearly defined promotional opportunities.

We are extremely proud of our staff members who recently completed training for the Missouri Prison Transformation Project (MPTP)!
MPTP is a five-year, research backed initiative led by the Missouri Department of Corrections in partnership with the University of Missouri. This program focuses on improving safety, living conditions, and rehabilitation inside state correctional facilities.
Thank you to our dedicated team for stepping up, investing in professional growth, and helping us build a safer, more supportive environment for everyone at South Central Correctional Center.

Health fair + amazing food truck = a great day at South Central Correctional Center!
Our staff enjoyed today’s Health Fair and some absolutely delicious meals courtesy of Show Me Good Food. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and to the Show Me Good Food Truck for taking such good care of our team!

Check out this amazing handcrafted quilt! Our Restorative Justice Organization (RJO) program donated this beautiful piece to Success School to help support their School Carnival this November.
Projects like this give our program participants a meaningful way to give back, showing how hard work and dedication can make a positive impact right here in our community. Make sure to come out to the carnival in November for your chance to win this quilt and support a fantastic cause!

Check out this handmade butterfly quilt! It was created specifically to support the Don Tottingham Memorial Run happening this November.
100% of the proceeds from this piece will go right back into our community to support two wonderful causes:
● The Houston Community Betterment Youth Easter Egg Hunt in March (funding the eggs and fun activities!)
●Bicycle Helmets for local Houston kindergarten students

Tickets will be sold at the Fall Festival in Houston!

A huge thank you to RJO for their incredibly generous donation this August!
5 children celebrating birthdays this month will receive special gifts and care packages. RJO provided a wonderful variety of items, including:

▪︎ Essential hygiene items
▪︎Bags
▪︎Pictures
▪︎ Beautiful quilts (ranging in size from small all the way up to queen!)
Community support like this makes a world of difference for local youth. Thank you, RJO, for helping us bring extra warmth, comfort, and birthday joy to Texas County children this month!

Stephanie consistently goes above and beyond her job duties, bringing incredible dedication, quick thinking, and heart to our facility every day. She recently demonstrated extraordinary responsiveness and care when she saved the life of a Frontline Puppies worker an heroic act that truly shows the kind of person and teammate she is.
Her commitment to excellence and the well-being of those around her makes an incredible impact, and we are beyond proud to have her on our team.

Big congratulations to Jerry Jackson and the team at Missouri Rural Water Association (MRWA) as they celebrate their 60th Anniversary!
For six decades, MRWA has done incredible work across Missouri, training local operators and giving rural communities the knowledge and tools they need to install, manage, and maintain essential water treatment facilities. Reliable, clean water is the lifeblood of our communities, and their dedication makes it possible.
A Special Raffle for a Big Milestone
To help honor this incredible 60-year milestone, SCCC is proud to donate a handmade quilt for a special anniversary raffle taking place this October in Jefferson city at the Missouri Rural Water Conference!
