This June, there are 5 amazing foster children at the Texas County Children's Division celebrating their birthdays.
​To help make their special days extra bright, our RJO program stepped in to sprinkle a little extra love and comfort. We have donated:
​• 5 Beautiful Quilts (Handcrafted with love to wrap them in warmth)
​• 5 Cuddly Teddy Bears (Ready for a lifetime of hugs)
​• Personal Hygiene Items (To keep them feeling confident)
​Every child deserves to feel celebrated, seen, and cherished on their birthday.

🎉 Happy Retirement, Tammy Stell! 🎉

​Talk about starting a legacy from the ground up! Today, we are saying a bittersweet farewell to Functional Unit Manager Tammy Stell as she retires after 29 years with South Central Correctional Center.
​Tammy holds a special place in SCCC history as the very first COI hired when our doors first opened. From that historic first day all the way to her retirement as a FUM today (Functional Unit Manager), she has been the definition of dedication, leadership, and hard work.
​Beyond her daily leadership, Tammy also looked out for the well-being of her work family, serving as our PACT Coordinator (Peer Action Care Team). Her compassion, support, and dedication to helping her fellow staff members through challenging times truly showcased the depth of her heart and commitment to our team.
​29 years of service is no small feat you have truly earned every second of your retirement, Tammy! Thank you for your leadership, your care, and everything you’ve done for this facility.

These mats are a symbol of community support for our neighbors in Phelps County who are navigating difficult times.
