Under the direction of the Recreation Director, the department supervises City parks, recreation areas, tennis center, and tennis programs. It coordinates and supervises all youth sports leagues and other special activities, including a summer recreation program and senior citizen activities. SEFLIN (the Southeast Florida Library Information Network) covers Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Martin and Monroe counties. Thank you to everyone who came out for “How to Protect Yourself from Scams”! We had a great turnout for this free presentation by the Area Agency on Aging of Broward County (AAABC). Attendees learned how to recognize, avoid and report the most common scams targeting older adults, with plenty of practical advice to take home and share with family and friends.
About AAABC
The presentation was open to all ages. AAABC services are available to:
Adults 60 and older
People with disabilities, ages 18 and older
