Today we remember and honor Fire Captain Eric Bailliet of the Fort Wayne Fire Department, who made the ultimate sacrifice on this date in 2017.
The Indiana Fire & Public Safety Academy respectfully recognizes this Fire Captain’s service and the legacy they left of serving their community and fellow Hoosiers.
Never forgotten.

🚒 It is that time of year again! 🚑

Our 3rd Annual Blue Light Parade!

To end Fire Prevention Week and kick off the upcoming holiday season, we started this event to help raise awareness for critical fire safety, and what better way but to raise donations for Toys for Tots!

Volunteers - help us light up the night in our wonderful little community of New Paris! Show us what you've got! (And we hear our reigning champion from the past two years will not be home to attend this year! 😉)

*NEW* This year! We have seen several vehicles around that have had some pretty neat holiday lights, so we have added those to our line up! If you have a vehicle that has been decked out with spooky Halloween flashers or some fancy blinking Christmas lights, we want to see those too!

Entry fee is $10 or one new unwrapped toy - all of which go directly to Toys for Tots!

If you don't have an entry for the parade and still want to donate a toy, we would love for you to stop by and see us and drop it in the donation box!

Thanks to the guys that helped cook and serve the 640 pounds of chicken at the Bufala Fest at Sylvan Cellars Friday night. This is a fundraiser that raises money and food for the Noble County Food Pantries. Good job Mike Haefer!

A handful of our firefighters went to the Sawmill Days northeast of Ligonier and did a rescue demonstration. They had to rescue our training manikin after having 2 branches fall on him and pin him. After the demonstration they answered questions, showed off the different equipment / fire engine and then visit the food tent. Then it was back to Ligonier to sell pork burgers at the Marshmallow Festival. Thanks to the firefighters that could help.
