Hopkins Elementary is excited to celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 📢 Hopkins Elementary is excited to celebrate Red Ribbon Week October -30, 2026!

This year's theme is "Make A Difference. Be A Hero. Stay Drug Free."
Throughout the week, students and staff are encouraged to participate in our spirit days as we promote healthy choices, kindness, and a commitment to living drug-free and bully-free lives.

🔴 Monday, October 26 – Red Shirt Day--Wear red to show your commitment to being drug-free!
💤 Tuesday, October 27 – Pajama/Sweats Day--Dream big, stay drug-free, and be the best you can be!
🧢 Wednesday, October 28 – Hat Day--Hats off to kindness! Help us promote a drug-free and bully-free school community.
👯 Thursday, October 29 – Bestie Twin Day--Dress alike with a friend and stand together against drugs and bullying!
🦸 Friday, October 30 – Hero Day--Dress as a superhero or someone you consider a hero and show how heroes make positive choices every day.

🚩 Look at what our Hopkins Safety Patrol members are learning! 🚩

At Hopkins Elementary School, our Safety Patrol members are developing more than just responsibility. They are learning the importance of citizenship, service, leadership, and respect for our nation's symbols and traditions.

A special thank you to Mr. Torres and our amazing school counselors for providing our Safety Patrol members with this valuable learning opportunity. Mr. Torres taught our students how to properly fold, handle, raise, and respect the American flag, while reinforcing the significance of honoring our country and those who have served it.

We are proud of these student leaders for embracing the opportunity to learn, serve, and lead by example. Thank you, Mr. Torres and our counselors, for investing in the growth and success of our students! 🇺🇸✨

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this celebration so meaningful for our Hopkins Hawks! 💙💛

We would also like to thank Mr. Frank from Lizzy Fashion for sharing beautiful Quinceañera dresses and helping our students learn more about Hispanic culture and traditions.

A special thank you to Bright Boy Foundation for visiting our school and bringing book characters to life while reading to our students. Your enthusiasm and love of literacy created unforgettable experiences for our children.

A huge thank you goes to all of our wonderful mom volunteers who generously gave their time to read to our students. Your involvement helped foster a love of reading and strengthened the connection between our school and families.

Finally, a special thank you to Noralba Libreros for taking the time to read to our classes and inspire our students through the joy of storytelling.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our families, friends, students, and staff who came out to support our Hopkins Elementary October Chick-fil-A Spirit Night! Your participation and support help strengthen our school community and provide opportunities for our students to succeed.

We are grateful to Chick-fil-A Lilburn for hosting our Spirit Night and partnering with Hopkins Elementary. Community partnerships like these make a difference for our students and families.

Thank you for taking the time to join us, enjoy a meal, and support our school. We loved seeing so many members of the Hopkins family together!

We are excited to celebrate the students who achieved 10 days or more of perfect attendance during the month of September and earned a special popcorn party! Your commitment to being at school every day helps you learn, grow, and succeed.

A heartfelt thank you to our parents and families for partnering with us and making attendance a priority. Your support ensures that our students are here each day, ready to learn and thrive.

We also want to recognize our amazing teachers for their continued encouragement, dedication, and support of our students' success. Your efforts make a difference every day.

A special shout-out goes to our wonderful school counselors for planning this fun attendance incentive and for their hard work promoting and increasing student attendance at Hopkins Elementary School.
