Berkmar Dance

Berkmar Dance Berkmar Dance is the department of dance at Berkmar High School in Lilburn, GA

Our program provides dance education to students at Berkmar High School in Gwinnett County, GA. In addition to receiving daily lessons in ballet, jazz, modern, movement science and dance history, students perform in two department-wide concerts a year, produce a student choreography showcase, and participate in school and community events.

2021 was a challenging year for sure. An ongoing pandemic, digital learning, a rocky return to school, and masks still shielding our breath and hiding our smiles. But this year brought the greatest gift-our return to live performance after two long years. “Fosse Fables” chasse’ed in a new chapter for Berkmar Dance with a new fall show in our brand new performing arts center. Here’s to a new year filled with fresh beginnings and the strength to embrace what’s ahead. 💪🏽🩰🥳
