REVIEW YOUR 2026 NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT
Gwinnett County property owners should review their 2026 Annual Notice of Assessment if they have not already done so.
The notice, which is not a tax bill, shows the appraised value of your property as of January 1, 2026, along with any exemptions, preferential assessments, or credits that may apply when property taxes are calculated later this year. The Gwinnett County Board of Assessors encourages property owners to verify that the information accurately reflects their property's fair market value and exemptions.
If you wish to appeal your assessment, you must do so within 45 days of the notice date shown in the upper right-hand corner of the notice.

ROAD RESURFACING BEGINS ON JUNE 8
The City of Lilburn's road resurfacing program will continue beginning June 8 in the areas of Montauk Road, Arrowind Road, and Arbor Pointe Court.
Residents and motorists should expect temporary delays, limited access, and construction activity while crews complete the work. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions; however, please plan accordingly and use caution when traveling through the area.
If you have questions about the project, please contact the Public Works Department at 770-638-2186.
Thank you for your patience as we work to maintain and improve Lilburn's roadway network.

GREENWAY TRAIL SAFETY UPGRADE COMING SOON
You may have noticed emergency location markers along the Greenway Trail. Next week, those markers will be upgraded with a new system that places signs closer together and aligns with the emergency location markers used throughout Gwinnett County's trail network.
These markers help staff and emergency responders quickly identify a person's location in the event of an emergency, improving response times and enhancing safety along the trail.
No trail closures are anticipated during the installation process. If that changes, we will provide updates as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience as we continue making improvements to the Greenway Trail.

RAILROAD AVE. PROJECT UPDATE: PORCHLINE & THE PARKING DECK
Progress continues on both The Porchline and the parking deck as crews move through key finishing phases.
At the parking deck, work includes continued progress painting doors and railings, and ongoing preparation for signage installation and elevator deliveries.
At The Porchline, landscaping and hardscapes are taking shape, including continued work along Railroad Avenue. Crews have also begun preparing for the upgraded paver roadway that will run down Railroad Avenue from Main Street to The Porchline. The pavers are designed to provide the appearance of a cobblestone street while supporting modern traffic and infrastructure needs.
Interior finishes are moving forward in the amenity areas, while cabinets, countertops, and painting continue throughout multiple buildings.
As work continues to progress, residents may begin seeing more activity related to marketing and leasing efforts in the coming weeks. The Porchline is preparing for pre-leasing this summer, with additional information expected to be shared in July.

FIRST AND MAIN ASSEMBLAGE UPDATE
Site work is nearing completion at the First Avenue and Main Street assemblage, a public-private partnership led by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) to support future investment in Old Town Lilburn. Crews have been preparing the 2.61-acre site for a future mixed-use development planned to include commercial space along Main Street and residential units along Velva Way.
As the project moves forward, all plans and renderings remain conceptual and subject to change. Updates will continue to be shared as progress is made. This project represents another step toward reinvestment in Old Town, and the City will continue to keep the community informed throughout the process.
